Paid search is the fastest route to a full schedule

SEO compounds but it takes months. Paid search can have your phone ringing within days, which matters if you have crews sitting idle or you have just opened a new market with no organic presence in it yet.

It is also the easiest place in restoration marketing to waste money. The same keyword can bring an insurance-funded mitigation job or a homeowner looking for a twenty dollar carpet dryer rental, and the difference is entirely in the match types, negatives and ad copy. A campaign run by someone who does not know this trade will spend your budget learning it.

We run two things side by side: Local Services Ads, where you pay per lead and appear above everything else with a screened badge, and standard Google Ads for the searches LSA does not cover. Both feed into call tracking so you can hear the calls and judge them yourself.

What paid search management covers

Setup, management and the unglamorous ongoing work that keeps cost per job falling instead of climbing.

  • Local Services Ads setup — licence and insurance verification, screened badge, budget and job-type configuration
  • LSA lead disputes — reviewed and filed monthly, because Google will refund unqualified leads but only if somebody asks
  • Emergency-intent campaigns — keyword structure built around urgency and service type, not broad industry terms
  • Aggressive negative keyword lists — built from restoration-specific waste: DIY searches, equipment rental, job seekers, courses and insurance complaints
  • Geo-targeting by drive time — spend concentrated where your crews can actually arrive fast enough to win the job
  • Dayparting and bid adjustment — more aggressive when you can answer, restrained when you cannot
  • Dedicated landing pages — built for the ad rather than pointing paid traffic at a generic homepage
  • Call tracking with recordings — so a booked mitigation job can be told apart from a wrong number
  • Monthly reallocation — budget moved between campaigns and cities based on cost per booked job

How a paid account is built

The first ninety days of a typical engagement.

01

Account audit

If you are already running ads, we review search terms, wasted spend and conversion tracking accuracy before touching anything. Most accounts lose 30 to 50 percent of spend to irrelevant searches.

02

Build and track

Campaign structure, negatives, landing pages and call tracking installed before spend starts, so every dollar is measurable from day one.

03

Learn

The first four to six weeks are deliberately data-gathering. We mine search terms weekly and cut waste hard.

04

Scale what works

Once cost per booked job is stable, we expand into the campaigns and cities that are profitable and pull from the ones that are not.

How we decide whether ads are right for you

Paid search is not right for everyone. If you cannot answer the phone around the clock, or you have nobody to follow up within minutes, ads will burn money no matter how well they are built. We would rather tell you that than take the retainer.

Budget matters too. In a competitive metro, restoration clicks are expensive, and a budget too small to gather data will never get out of the learning phase. We will tell you honestly if your market needs more than you want to spend, and whether local SEO is the better first investment.

Where ads do work, they work quickly, and they pair well with SEO: paid covers the gap while organic builds, then you can scale paid back as rankings take over.

Paid search questions

What should I budget for Google Ads?

It depends entirely on your market. Competitive metros can run twenty to sixty dollars a click for emergency water damage terms, while smaller markets are far cheaper. We size the budget in the audit using real cost-per-click data for your cities rather than a number that sounds reassuring.

What is the difference between Local Services Ads and Google Ads?

Local Services Ads sit at the very top, show a screened badge, and charge per lead rather than per click. Standard Google Ads sit below them, charge per click, and cover far more search variations. Most restoration companies should run both.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

We discuss pricing on the first call. What we will say here is that percentage-of-spend creates an incentive to spend more rather than spend well, which is worth asking any agency about.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. It is created under your business, and if we part ways it stays with you along with all its history. An agency running ads from its own account is holding your data hostage.

Can you fix an account someone else built?

Usually yes, and it is often faster than starting over because the account has conversion history. The audit will tell us whether it is salvageable.

How quickly will the phone ring?

Local Services Ads can produce leads within days of verification clearing, though verification itself can take a week or two. Standard Google Ads typically start producing calls in the first week.
